Strategic Account Manager - Business Development at AIESEC in Sri Lanka

Tharushi Amarasinghe began their work experience in 2020 as a Trainee at People's Bank, where they gained their first experience in the banking industry. In 2022, they joined AIESEC in Sri Lanka, starting as a Team Member in Business Development and later becoming a Team Leader in Incoming Global Volunteer Business to Business. Tharushi also served as an Organizing Committee President for Prime Minds 3.0 and an Event Specialist in Finance and Legal. In 2023, Tharushi took on roles such as Manager in Incoming Global Volunteer Business to Business and Local Committee Vice President in Outgoing Global Volunteer Product Strategies. Tharushi also held positions at We Lead - Career Skills Society of University of Peradeniya as Vice Secretary and at Robarosiya as Head of Membership Affairs. Moreover, they participated in the AHRP immersion program, offered by Sysco LABS Technologies, Brandix Sri Lanka, and John Keells Holdings.

Tharushi Amarasinghe pursued a Diploma in English and IT at ESOFT Metro Campus in 2017. Tharushi then attended Holy Cross College, Gampaha, where they completed their Advanced Level studies in Business/Commerce, General. Currently, Tharushi is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration - BBA with a focus on Human Resource Management at the University of Peradeniya, which they are expected to complete in 2025. In 2022 and 2023, they also attended SITC Campus to obtain a Diploma in Psychology and counseling.
