Markus Aukeala

Markus Aukeala has a diverse work experience spanning different roles in various companies. Markus is currently working as a Cyber Security Engineer at Aiforia Technologies since June 2023. Prior to this, they held the position of Lead Cloud Architect at the same company from December 2021 to June 2023.

From 2015 to 2021, Markus worked at Softability Group Oy as a Senior Software Architect. Their responsibilities included designing system and software architectures, sales support, technology consulting, and leading development projects for healthcare sector clients and device manufacturers.

Before that, they worked at Digia starting from 2010, where they served as a Systems Architect from January 2012 to October 2015. Markus also held the role of Team Manager from January 2011 to January 2012, and was a Systems Architect from September 2010 to January 2011.

Markus started their career at Tieto in 2001 as a Technology Consultant, and later became a Tech Team Leader from January 2010 to September 2010.

Their earliest work experience was at Mainostoimisto Webbimeklarit Oy, where they worked as a Web Designer from June 1999 to August 2000, and later as a Project Manager from August 2000 to February 2001.

From 2020 to 2023, Markus attended JAMK University of Applied Sciences, where they studied Cyber Security.

Starting in 2014 and ending in 2024, Markus pursued a field of study in Computer Science at Helsingin yliopisto (University of Helsinki).

From 2002 to 2014, Markus completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computer Science at the University of Helsinki.

Between 1998 and 2001, Markus studied Natural Sciences and Multimediaproduction at Turku University of Applied Sciences, earning a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree.

In 1994 and 1996, Markus completed their high school education at Parkanon lukio.

In addition to their formal education, Markus obtained several certifications. In 2013, they achieved the following certifications from Microsoft: MCTS: Administering Office 365, MCSA: Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate Windows Server 2012, and Microsoft Specialist: Programming in HTML5 with JavaScript and CSS3. In 2011, they obtained the certifications of Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD): Web Developer 4 and Microsoft Certified Professional Developer (MCPD): Windows Azure. Furthermore, in 2008, Markus acquired the SEI Software Architecture Professional certification from SEI, and in 2012, they obtained the CSM: Certified Scrum Master certification from Scrum Alliance.
