George Shevlin

George Shevlin is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government affairs and political strategy. Currently serving as Vice President of Federal Government Affairs at AIG since 2018, Shevlin has previously held key roles including Political Affairs Officer at the Investment Company Institute from 2012 to 2017, Executive Director of the House Democratic Caucus from 2007 to 2012, Staff Director of the Committee on House Administration from 2003 to 2007, and Chief of Staff for Congressman John B. Larson from 1999 to 2004. Shevlin holds an LL.M. in International Trade Law from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a J.D. from the University of Baltimore School of Law, and a B.A. in Government and International Relations from the University of Notre Dame.
