Lara Hilton

Lara Hilton is a Senior Learning Consultant at AIHR | Academy to Innovate HR since May 2023, focusing on helping HR teams develop a learning culture through a competency-based approach. Previously, Lara served as the Learning Experience Design Lead at Elevate Learning from May 2022 to May 2023, where responsibilities included managing a learning design team and fostering career development. Earlier roles include Mid-level Learning Designer and Junior Learning Designer at Hubble Studios, where key tasks involved course design, learning strategy, and client relationship management. Lara's background also includes experience as an Editorial Assistant at The Gospel Coalition, a presenter at the SACOMM Conference, and various internships in media and education. Lara holds a Bachelor's Honours in Media Theory and Practice from the University of Cape Town, alongside a Bachelor of Arts in Interactive Media, Media Studies, and English Language and Literature.
