Jamie Lewis Smith, Ph.D. has a diverse range of work experience in various organizations.

In 2002, Dr. Smith worked as a psychotherapist at the University of Miami Psychological Services Center, providing individual therapy and assessments to adults, adolescents, and children.

From 2003 to 2004, Dr. Smith also worked as a psychotherapist at The Renfrew Center, focusing on individuals with eating disorders and facilitating group therapy sessions.

In 2006, Dr. Smith became the Senior Director of Clinical and Assessment Programs at GoalQuest, a division of EducationDynamics, where they developed web-based assessment and health promotion products for college campuses.

From 2008 to 2013, Dr. Smith was an Organization Development Psychologist at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, providing consultation and support for a national culture change initiative.

From 2013 to 2017, Dr. Smith served as the Organization Development/Talent Management Leader at Nemours Children's Health System, overseeing talent management, leadership development, and learning services for the organization.

Jamie Lewis Smith, Ph.D. has a diverse education history in the field of psychology and related fields. They obtained a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology from Kent State University. Afterward, they pursued an M.S. and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Miami. They also completed a predoctoral internship in Clinical Psychology at West Virginia University. In addition to their formal education, Jamie has acquired numerous certifications related to coaching, leadership assessment, and conflict management from institutions such as the International Coaching Federation, the Hogan Assessment Systems, and the Myers-Briggs Company. They have also obtained certifications in various tools for team effectiveness and leadership analysis. Furthermore, Jamie is a licensed clinical psychologist by the Ohio Board of Psychology.
