Naoki Kanehisa

Naoki Kanehisa is a highly experienced legal professional currently serving as a Partner and Head of the London Office at Atsumi & Sakai since December 2017. In addition to this role, Naoki is the National Representative for Japan at the AIJA - International Association of Young Lawyers since September 2021, and has been a Partner and Senior Associate at Atsumi & Sakai since August 2015. Prior experience includes a directorial position at the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in the UK from October 2019 to October 2020, as well as roles at Mayer Brown as a Foreign Attorney and at SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. as Vice President. Naoki's legal education includes a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Columbia Law School, a Doctor of Law (JD) from Keio University Law School, and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Tokyo.
