Eric Fields

Eric Fields is a knowledgeable professional in the biomedical engineering field, currently serving as the Director of Biomedical Engineering at Aiken Regional Medical Centers since October 2025. Prior to this role, Eric held positions including Lead Biomedical Equipment Technician at Piedmont Augusta and Biomedical Equipment Technician at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs VISN 7. Eric's extensive experience also includes serving in the United States Army Reserve and working as a Biomedical Technician 3 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital. Eric completed the Biomedical Equipment Technician Training Program at the DoD Medical Education Training Campus in 2015, specializing in operating room, cardiovascular operating room, anesthesia, and perfusion systems.
