Jacob Nickle

Jacob Nickle is the Director of Biomedical Engineering Laboratories at Bucknell University since January 2022, responsible for maintaining a variety of biomedical engineering lab equipment and enhancing 3D printers. Previously, Jacob served as a Student Laboratory Assistant at the School of Life Sciences at Arizona State University, where contributions were made to cell culture maintenance and wet lab techniques. An entry-level assembler for Honeywell, Jacob participated in the production of N95 masks during the Covid-19 pandemic. As a Mechanical Engineer at Pyrexar Medical, Jacob conceptualized product solutions and executed design tasks using SolidWorks, following earlier experience as an Engineering Assistant. Jacob holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University - Idaho, alongside a background in general education from Eastern Arizona College and high school diploma from Tri-City Prep High School.
