Samantha Winn

Samantha Winn is a journalist with experience in various reporting and communication roles. Currently serving as a reporter for The Post and Courier since May 2021, Samantha covers arts, entertainment, business, and community affairs in North Augusta, SC, and Augusta, GA. Additionally, as an elections stringer for The Associated Press since January 2020, Samantha reports local precinct results during major elections in South Carolina. Previous roles include sorting entries for the South Carolina Press Association Contest, creating content for the University of South Carolina's Carolina Girls Dance Team, and developing multimedia features for the College of Engineering and Computing at the University of South Carolina. Samantha's early experiences included reporting for The Daily Gamecock and serving as co-writing editor for the Tribal Tribune Newspaper during high school. Samantha earned a degree in Journalism, Print and Multimedia from the University of South Carolina in 2021.
