Fen Zhao

Fen Zhao is an accomplished venture investor and Director of Research & Data Science at Alpha Edison since 2018. With a robust background in science and technology policy, Fen served as a Program Officer at the National Science Foundation from 2013 to 2017, and as an AAAS Policy Fellow in both the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and the National Science Foundation from 2012 to 2012. Prior experience includes working as an Associate at McKinsey & Company from 2009 to 2011. Fen Zhao holds a BS in Physics and Mathematics for Computer Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a PhD in Applied Physics from Stanford University.
