Mishala Lewis

Mishala Lewis, MPA, currently serves as the Director of Events, Marketing, and Communications at AIM Institute, a role held since June 2025. Concurrently, Mishala has been an Event/Program Consultant for Amplify Omaha since June 2021. Previous experience includes working as an Event Coordinator at Kiewit Luminarium and founding MECHEE Boutique, which seeks to disrupt fashion stereotypes by offering clothing and accessories in various sizes. Mishala also held the position of DEAI Manager at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, where efforts focused on developing policies and programs to promote diversity and inclusion. Earlier, as the President and Founder of Resilient Women, impactful initiatives addressed the needs of marginalized women in the community. Mishala earned an MPA from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and a BA in Sociology and Anthropology from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
