Michael Alexandru

Michael Alexandru is a seasoned hospitality professional with extensive experience in operations management. Currently serving as Vice President of Operations at Aimbridge Hospitality since November 2014, Michael oversees operational functions for six Hyatt Place and Hyatt House hotels in the Northeast region, while managing capital planning and project operations across a portfolio of 38 hotels. Prior roles at Hyatt Hotels Corporation included General Manager and Assistant General Manager, focusing on all aspects of operations within the Rooms Division and Food & Beverage Department. Additionally, Michael has held a supervisory role with White Lodging Services, where responsibilities included overseeing Front Office and Housekeeping operations. Early career experience includes the position of Food Service Area Manager at Lake Compounce. Michael holds a degree from the University of Vermont.
