Roy Mellinger

Roy Mellinger, CISSP, currently serves as Senior Vice President - Security, Privacy, IT Risk and Compliance and Global CISO at Aimbridge Hospitality, where responsibilities include overseeing security for the world’s largest independent hotel property management firm. In addition, Mellinger is an advisor to AlphaSights, Emissary.io, and manages The Shield Group’s cybersecurity consulting practice. Previous roles include Senior Vice President and CISO at Sabre Corporation, Vice President of IT Security and CISO at Anthem, Inc., and various security leadership positions at Sallie Mae, GE Capital, Heller Financial, and Household Finance. Mellinger is an alumnus of the US Coast Guard Academy and the National Intelligence Academy.
