Brandon Gill New

Brandon Gill New has a diverse work experience that spans various financial institutions and roles. In their current position as Managing Director and Head of External Partnerships at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (AIMCo), they are responsible for overseeing external partnerships. Prior to this, they held positions at OPTrust as Managing Director and Head of Multi-Strategy Investments and Digital Assets. Brandon also worked as a Director at BMO Capital Partners, where they invested in private debt/equity funds and assessed investment opportunities. Additionally, they gained experience at Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, where they managed alternative investments and was responsible for a subsection of the Global Active Equities team's investments. Brandon started their career as a Senior Equity Analyst at Buttonwood Capital Partners and completed a summer internship at Carlson Capital, L.P. throughout their career, Brandon has demonstrated expertise in investment analysis, portfolio management, and risk reduction strategies.

Brandon Gill New has a B.A. in International Economics from Middlebury College. Brandon also holds an MBA degree from the London Business School. In addition, they obtained a Certificate in Cryptocurrency from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Brandon is also listed as a Chartered Financial Analyst.
