Tim van Brussel

Tim van Brussel has diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tim currently holds the position of Head of Partnerships at Tiqets, a role they assumed in January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Global Partnerships Manager at Tiqets from March 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Tiqets, Tim co-founded Cocoa, a family-friendly brunch café in Barcelona, in October 2018, and remained in this role until January 2022.

In 2018, Tim worked at GetYourGuide, where they held the positions of Senior Destination Manager for Spain & Portugal from July 2019 to October 2020, and Destination Manager for Spain & Portugal from February 2018 to June 2019.

From September 2015 to January 2018, Tim served as the Area Manager for The Netherlands & Germany at Weekendesk, an Online Travel Agency specializing in short breaks and holidays. Prior to this, they were the Market Manager for The Netherlands at Weekendesk from July 2014 to September 2015.

Tim also has experience with The Stoke Travel Co., where they worked as a Sales & Business Development Manager from January 2013 to June 2014, focusing on international B2B development, partnerships, and the creation of new tours and events.

Before that, Tim was a Project Manager at The Masters Lounge, a start-up aiming to create an international master student community in Barcelona, from June 2011 to December 2012.

Tim'sprofessional journey began at European University, where they served as the Sales Manager for Europe from May 2009 to May 2011, responsible for recruiting international business students through educational fairs and visits to international schools and agencies.

Tim van Brussel obtained a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from The Open University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012.
