Jamie Cavanaugh has held various positions in the mortgage industry since 2000. Starting with Mortgage Corporation of America, Inc./Zone Funding, they served as the Director of Operations, EVP, where they facilitated a transition from a mortgage broker to a national retail and wholesale lender. Jamie obtained multi-state licensing in 43 states, negotiated and set up warehouse funding facility contracts, and built successful wall street investor relationships. Jamie also created policies and procedures for the organization and developed a leadership team and support staff of over 350.

In 2009, Jamie Cavanaugh moved to Bank of America as the Post-Sale Foreclosure Manager, AVP. In this role, they built and managed a team that processed a 5,000 loan portfolio of FHA post-foreclosure files, including property preservation and conveyance back to HUD.

In 2010, Jamie Cavanaugh joined Prospect Mortgage, LLC as the Post-Closing Government Insuring Manager, AVP. Jamie managed the Post-Closing Audit department for review of funded loans to ensure investor and regulatory compliance and obtain FHA and VA mortgage insurance on Government loans. Jamie also oversaw large government audits and collaborated to design and develop audit software to measure and track loan quality at every level of the loan origination process.

In 2014, Jamie Cavanaugh joined Amerifund Home Loans, Inc. as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Finally, in 2022, Jamie Cavanaugh took on the role of Vice President, Outreach at AIME.

Jamie Cavanaugh has been actively engaged in the professional world since 2001, when they received their California Real Estate License from the California Department of Real Estate. In 2002, they obtained a Notary Public Commission from the California Secretary of State. In 2014, they received an MLO Endorsement from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System, and they are currently certified as an Escrow Officer by the California Department of Corporations (now California Dept of Business Oversight).
