Kabir Dhanji

Kabir Dhanji is a Kenyan-born photojournalist and creative professional based in Nairobi, Kenya, with extensive experience across Africa and Australia. Currently serving as Creative & Art Director at Kivuli Creative and Photojournalist at AFP since January 2019, Kabir has also held roles as Strategic Counsel and Editor-In-Chief at AIME since January 2012. Kabir's background includes working as a Principal Security Consultant for ZeroRisk International and as an Analyst at IHS, alongside various positions as a film director and photojournalist for organizations such as The Peregrine Fund and the European Pressphoto Agency. Kabir holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media and Communications from the University of Sydney, with additional education in political science and high-security training for journalists.
