Jason Cook

Jason Cook, Ph.D., currently serves as a Senior Research Scientist at AimMax Therapeutics, Inc. since June 2023. Prior experience includes a Senior Research Scientist role at Dignify Therapeutics Inc. from October 2018 to April 2023 and a Postdoctoral Fellow position at the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences from March 2017 to September 2018, where research focused on neural circuit activity in Parkinson’s disease models. Previous work at The University of Texas at Austin from March 2014 to February 2017 investigated the effects of a junk food diet on dopamine neuron physiology. Jason Cook earned a Ph.D. in Neurobiology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where studies were conducted from 2008 to 2013, following a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a focus on Behavioral Neuroscience from Purdue University.
