Daniele Panfilo

Daniele Panfilo is the CEO and Co-Founder of Aindo. Daniele has also worked as a Data Scientist for Allianz Technology and IQVIA. During their time at Allianz Technology, they were responsible for the end-to-end big data analytics and machine learning tasks related to telematics data. This included import and organization of data in the Hadoop framework using Hive or Impala, data exploration and prototyping using Pyspark in Zeppelin, developing and deploying Machine Learning models in Python with MLlib, Tensorflow and Keras, creating dashboards and reports using Microstrategy, and communicating with the management team in order to translate data analysis results into business insight. Prior to working at Allianz Technology, Panfilo was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Cardiovascular Research Institute Maastricht (CARIM) and a Data Scientist Intern at the Medtronic Bakken Research Center.

Daniele Panfilo has a PhD in Machine Learning-Artificial Intelligence from Università degli Studi di Trieste, a Master of Science in Operations Research from Maastricht University, and a Master of Science in Optimization and Modelling from Sapienza Università di Roma. Daniele also has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Management Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma. In addition, Daniele Panfilo has certification from Coursera in Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Structuring Machine Learning Projects, and Neural Networks and Deep Learning.
