Abraham Villanueva

Abraham Villanueva, EIT, currently serves as the Manager of Power Systems Projects at Ainsworth Inc since October 2023, following previous roles including Project Manager for Preventative Maintenance & Technical Services at Sheridan Electric and Power Systems EIT at Ainsworth Inc. Experienced in electrical diagnostics and maintenance, Villanueva has performed extensive work in infrared thermography, airborne ultrasound, arc flash hazard assessment, and protection relay testing. Earlier career highlights include overseeing redevelopment projects at Mall of the Emirates with a significant budget and managing operational efficiencies of mall equipment as a Resident Engineer at SM Supermalls. Villanueva began their career at Toshiba, focusing on power plant operations, and holds an Electrical Engineering degree from Bicol University and a bridging program qualification from Toronto Metropolitan University.
