Sergey Minkov

Sergey Minkov has extensive work experience in software engineering and management roles. Sergey currently works at AINVEST as a Product Engineering Manager, starting in October 2022. Prior to that, they were the Director of Software Engineering at Lime Financial from December 2020 to January 2023. In this role, they led multiple distributed teams, built and operated trading compliance systems, managed cybersecurity procedures, and led the implementation of clearing and settlement IT. From January 2018 to December 2020, Sergey served as a Software Engineering Manager at Lime Financial, where they led teams and implemented cybersecurity measures. Before that, they worked as a Lead Software Engineer from April 2014 to January 2018, leading a development team and redesigning the architecture of an online retail trading platform. Prior to Lime Financial, Sergey worked at FINAM as a Lead developer / Team Lead from June 2011 to April 2014, where they played a key role in developing an online retail banking solution. Sergey also gained experience at Troika Dialog as a Senior Developer from December 2009 to June 2011 and AllianceBernstein as a Senior Developer from October 2007 to November 2009. At AllianceBernstein, Sergey contributed to the development of an online retirement calculator tool and launched an advisory fees pricing utility. Sergey started their career at Dell as a Developer from April 2006 to October 2007, where they worked on the APOS system and gained experience in Agile development.

Sergey Minkov obtained their Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from Irkutsk State University. Sergey completed their education at the university from 2000 to 2005. In 2019, Sergey also acquired a certification in Architecting with Google Cloud Platform Specialization from Coursera.
