Affan Daud Khan

Affan Daud Khan has a diverse work experience in the field of DevOps engineering and integration. Affan Daud is currently working as a DevOps Engineer at Aion Digital since 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Afiniti from 2021 to 2022, where they held the roles of Platform Engineer II and DevOps Engineer. At Afiniti, their responsibilities included improving documentation and DevOps processes, troubleshooting with Docker Compose and Kubernetes, providing DevOps support to multiple teams, and carrying out deployment activities for clients worldwide.

Before joining Afiniti, Affan worked at Telenor from 2018 to 2021. Initially, they served as a Solution Integration Officer and was involved in the development of microservices using Java Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Apache Kafka. Affan Daud also worked on verifying and completing architecture outlines for different integrations. Later, Affan transitioned into the role of Integration DevOps Engineer, where they focused on improving the Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipeline using Jenkins, Docker, and Kibana dashboards. Affan Daud also enhanced logging and monitoring of microservices and implemented best DevOps practices.

Additionally, in 2017, Affan interned at KALSYM SDH BHD as a Development Intern.

Affan Daud Khan completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, which they pursued from 2014 to 2018. Affan Daud has also obtained several additional certifications, including Data Science Methodology and Python for Data Science and AI from Coursera, and Introduction to Ansible and Big Data Fundamentals from Linux Academy. Affan Daud has also gained certifications in various fields such as DevOps Tools, Docker, Jenkins, Elastic Stack, Ethical Hacking, and Cybersecurity from institutions like Linux Academy, Udemy, and LinkedIn.
