Farhan Nizar

Farhan Nizar has extensive work experience in the technology and banking sectors.

Farhan began their career in 2006 at the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, where they served as the Lead Technical Analyst for Payments Systems. In this role, they led architectural improvements, implemented a Payment Gateway solution, and delivered customized solutions to optimize client requirements.

In 2017, Farhan joined First Abu Dhabi Bank as the Technical Lead for Payments & Operations Systems. Farhan successfully orchestrated the seamless migration of data between two legacy systems and coordinated the end-to-end delivery of major managed service projects.

In 2019, Farhan moved to Aion Digital, where they held the position of Director of Technology Innovation and Project Manager. Farhan led a team in delivering strategic insights, optimized the TechStack, and orchestrated strategic partnerships to integrate new capabilities into the Digital Transformation journey.

Throughout their career, Farhan has consistently demonstrated their expertise in technology innovation, project management, and strategic partnerships.

Farhan Nizar completed their education at multiple institutions and obtained various certifications. In 2003, they enrolled in Keystone College and graduated with an Advanced Diploma in Information Technology in 2005. Later, from 2014 to 2016, they studied at SBS Swiss Business School, where they earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a focus on Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. During the same period, in 2015 and 2016, Farhan also pursued a Certification in Big Data from SimpiLearn.com.

Additionally, Farhan acquired multiple certifications related to blockchain technology. In September 2017, they completed the course "LFS171x: Blockchain for Business - An Introduction to Hyperledger Technologies" offered by The Linux Foundation. In September 2018, they earned the certification for "Certified Blockchain Mechanism Designer (CMDes)" from Lassonde Professional Development (LPD)-York University. Furthermore, in August 2018, they obtained the "Certified Hyperledger Fabric Developer (CFD)" certification, also from Lassonde Professional Development (LPD)-York University.
