Sarika Dharmendar PMP®, SAFe® SPC, SAFe® Agilist

Sarika Dharmendar has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Sarika began their career as an IT Executive at Mega & Forbes Group of Companies, where they developed ERP software and applications for clients using Java and Oracle technologies. Sarika then transitioned to the role of Senior School IT Teacher at CAMS Avicenna and later became a Senior School IT Instructor & Manager at Beacon House School System.

In 2013, Sarika joined NIB Bank (now Muslim Commercial Bank Limited) as a Project Coordinator and Manager in the Information Technology department. Sarika was responsible for coordinating with stakeholders, analyzing business processes, documenting functional specifications, and recommending improvements.

Following their time at NIB Bank, Sarika moved to Habib Bank Limited as a Project Manager in the Information Technology department. In this role, they collected business requirements, conducted requirement gathering sessions, and wrote requirement specifications and design documents.

Sarika then took on the role of a Business Analyst at Dicetek LLC, UAE. During their time there, they captured requirements from end-users, synthesized them with scope and priority, and ensured effective communication with the development team.

In 2019, Sarika became a Technology Project Lead at First Abu Dhabi Bank through their work with OKOOL. In this role, they interacted with product stakeholders, conducted requirement gathering and analysis, and proposed amendments to improve processes.

Currently, Sarika is working as a Senior Business Analyst at Aion Digital, where they are conducting requirement gathering sessions with business stakeholders.

Throughout their career, Sarika has acquired professional certifications such as PMP®, SAFe® SPC, and SAFe® Agilist, demonstrating their expertise in project management and agile methodologies.

Sarika Dharmendar earned a Bachelor of Computer Science degree in Software Engineering from the National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences, where they studied from 1998 to 2002.

In addition to their bachelor's degree, Sarika holds multiple certifications. Sarika obtained their Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute in October 2020. In July 2019, they achieved the Certified SAFe® 4 Agilist certification from Scaled Agile, Inc. Sarika further expanded their expertise by obtaining the Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist certification in May 2020, also from Scaled Agile, Inc. Lastly, they acquired the Certified SAFe® 5 Program Consultant certification in July 2020, demonstrating their comprehensive understanding and proficiency in implementing the Scaled Agile Framework.
