David Tellez

Chief Technology Officer at Aiosyn

David Tellez is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer at Aiosyn, a company focused on accelerating the adoption of artificial intelligence in pathology diagnostics. In this role, they are responsible for the technology that powers their products and is part of the management team.

In 2019, David worked as a Research Intern at Mila - Quebec Artificial Intelligence Institute, where they conducted research under the supervision of Dr. Joelle Pineau and Dr. Michal Drozdzal.

Prior to that, David worked at Synetiq from 2014 to 2016. David started as a Research Intern, where they worked on EEG signal processing and data analysis. David later became a Research Engineer, responsible for analyzing multi-modal physiological data using machine learning and developing the data pipeline for experimental data processing.

David also had a research intern position at AICIA (Andalusian Association for Research and Industrial Cooperation) in 2012.

David Tellez completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Artificial Intelligence at Radboud University from 2016 to 2020. Prior to that, they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from Universidad de Sevilla, graduating between 2009 and 2014. Additionally, they participated in an Erasmus Exchange program at Budapest University of Technology and Economics in the field of Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering from 2013 to 2014.

In terms of certifications, David Tellez completed the Deep Learning Specialization on Coursera, a 5-course specialization by Andrew Ng's deeplearning.ai, in August 2018. David also obtained a TOEFL (Test Of English as a Foreign Language) certification from Educational Testing Service in September 2012. Lastly, they have a certification in Machine Learning, however, there is no information available regarding the date and institution of issuance.
