Peter Bandi

Peter Bandi has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Software Engineer at Aiosyn since January 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Data Scientist at Thirona from February 2020 to December 2021. Before that, Peter was a PhD Student at Radboudumc from December 2015 to February 2020. Peter'swork involved organizing the CAMELYON17 challenge for breast cancer detection and developing convolutional neural networks for cancer detection.

Before their PhD, Peter worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Mediso Medical Imaging Systems from January 2010 to November 2015. Peter was the main developer of a scientific algorithm library and actively participated in research and development of new algorithms and methods.

Peter's earlier experience includes working at Nokia Networks as a Team Leader from October 2008 to January 2010, leading a team of 15 developers and performing design, development, and module testing. Peter also worked as a Software Specialist at Nokia Networks from July 2006 to October 2008, where they developed software components and participated in various projects, including lawful call monitoring developments.

Peter Bandi obtained their Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science from the University of Szeged, where they studied from 2001 to 2006. In 2011, they also obtained a Certificate of Proficiency in English (Council of Europe Level C2) from the University of Cambridge (ESOL Examinations).
