Don DesPain is an accomplished finance professional with extensive experience in the financial services industry, specializing in investment advisors, broker-dealers, hedge funds, mutual funds, and proprietary trading firms. As a Partner and COO/CCO at Core Capital Management since April 2011 and a Partner in Operations and Finance at Aiperion since March 2019, Don has demonstrated strong leadership and operational acumen. Prior to these roles, Don served as a Senior Auditor at Ernst & Young LLP from June 2006 to April 2011. Don holds a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Accounting from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, earned between 2002 and 2007.
