Lugano Minga has been in the Human Resources field since 2013. In 2016, they began working at Aiphone Corporation as a Human Resources Manager, where they were responsible for facilitating improved work relationships, building morale and increasing productivity and retention through active development and encouragement of positive, winning company culture. Lugano also managed employee recognition programs, special events, wellness initiatives, and employee council activities. In addition, they coached and counseled employees and managers regarding company policies, procedures, and programs, including payroll and benefits, and supported in conducting prompt and thorough investigations into complaints regarding harassment or discrimination. Prior to this, they worked at Hearthstone as a Human Resources Coordinator, where they were responsible for orienting new hires, managing the HRIS system, maintaining employee files, preparing L&I documents and sending them to CRMI, coordinating wellness events, and providing support to the HR team in regards to upkeep of all records pertaining to benefits, compensation, employee relations, and other areas as needed. Lugano also posted and advertised positions as assigned, and composed, edited, and sent notifications, reports, and other material to applicants and staff.
Lugano Minga obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources from Keller Graduate School of Management between 2009 and 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Administration from University of Dar es Salaam between 2004 and 2007.
