Keith Wardle

Vice President Engineering & Maintenance at Air Astana

Keith Wardle has over 30 years of experience in the aircraft engineering industry. Keith started their career in 1985 as an aircraft apprentice with the Royal Air Force. After a successful military career, they worked as an aircraft maintenance licensed engineer for BAE Systems and DHL Express. In 2013, they joined Air Astana as an Engineering Manager and later became the Director of Engineering, responsible for the airworthiness of the fleet. From 2016 to 2017, they served as the Head of Engineering at flydubai. Keith is currently the Vice President of Engineering & Maintenance at Air Astana. Keith holds a First Class Honours Degree in Aerospace Engineering and an MSc in Professional Engineering from Kingston University.

Keith Wardle attended Orwell High School from 1978 to 1984. Keith then enrolled in RAF Halton from 1985 to 1988, where they pursued a degree in HNC Aeronautical Engineering as part of the 145 Apprentice Entry program. Keith later attended Kingston University, earning a B Eng (Hons) in Aircraft Engineering from 2004 to 2006, followed by an MSc in Professional Engineering from 2008 to 2012.
