Peter Opdam

Peter Opdam currently serves as the Manager of Volunteering & Stakeholder Engagement at Air Canada since September 2023. Previously, Peter worked as a Senior Policy Advisor and Policy Advisor in the Office of the Minister of Innovation, Science and Industry, where responsibilities included advising on telecommunications and copyright files. Peter's extensive experience in political advisory roles includes positions such as Senior Advisor to the Liberal Research Bureau and Parliamentary Affairs Advisor during a secondment at the Office of the Minister of Public Services & Procurement. Peter has also managed electoral campaigns for various Liberal candidates and held roles in healthcare-related committees within the City of Port Colborne. Peter holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Brock University.
