Charles Yao

Charles Yao is an accomplished consultant and application architect currently serving as the Director of the Innovation Lab at Air China Limited since June 2019, where responsibilities include leading the strategy and architecture design for the company's inflight entertainment and connectivity (IFEC) solution. Previously, Yao was the Board Director and CEO of Beijing Shareco Technologies Co., Ltd., overseeing over 400 employees and achieving substantial sales targets. Additional leadership experience includes roles as Chairman and CEO of HNA Culture Group and significant contributions at SEEC Media Group Ltd. in product development and marketing. Yao holds a Master of Science in Automation from Tsinghua University and an Executive MBA from the University of International Business and Economics, alongside a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics and a minor in Telecommunications Engineering.
