Douglas Edward Nash has extensive work experience in the aviation industry. Douglas Edward began their career in 2000 as an Administration Officer at U.S. Coast Guard, Air Station Elizabeth City, where they oversaw administrative activities and mentored junior pilots. In 2006, they moved to U.S. Coast Guard, Air Station Sacramento as an Aircraft Standards Branch Chief and later served as the Operations Officer & Chief Pilot, Office of Aviation Forces Chief, and Commanding Officer. In these roles, they directed operations, developed aviation policies, and supervised daily operations of the air station. Douglas Edward'sresponsibilities also included fostering a diversified workforce, collaborating with various organizations, and providing valuable support during the Deepwater Horizon disaster. In 2018, they joined Air Evac Lifeteam as the Regional Director of Flight Operations.

Douglas Edward Nash obtained a Bachelor's degree in Forestry Administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point from 1980 to 1984. Douglas Edward then pursued a Masters of Science degree in Quality Systems Management from The National Graduate School of Quality Management (NGS) from 2003 to 2004. Prior to their bachelor's degree, they had a year of General Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1979-1980. Additionally, they hold certifications including DOD Security Clearance - Secret obtained in February 2012 and a Certified Flight Instructor certification from the Federal Aviation Administration obtained in 2011.
