Ian Carroll worked as a CCT Paramedic at Logan Emergency Ambulance Service Authority from May 1995 to June 2004. Ian then served as a Firefighter/Paramedic at Charleston Fire Department from June 2004 to March 2010. In 2009, they joined Air Evac Lifeteam as a Base clinical Lead and Flight Nurse. Currently, Ian Carroll holds the position of a Registered Nurse at Logan Regional Medical Center Hospitals since October 2016.
Ian Carroll received an ADN (Associate Degree in Nursing) from the University of Charleston in 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a degree in Paramedic Science from Southern West Virginia Community and Technical College from 1997 to 1999. In 2017, Ian Carroll enrolled in the University of Charleston again to pursue a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Ian also holds various certifications in the medical field, including ITLS (International Trauma Life Support), Nationally Registered Paramedic, Neonatal Resuscitation Program, PEPP (Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professionals), Registered Professional Nurse, Trauma Nursing Core Course, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, and Basic Life Support. Ian is also certified as a Certified Flight Paramedic and holds NFPA 1001 Firefighter certification.
