Frank Buratti

Vice President, Technical Asset Management at Air Lease

Frank Buratti has a diverse range of work experience in the aviation industry. Frank started their career as a Crew Chief in the USAF, where they served as an F-5E Crew Chief at Nellis A. F. B. from October 1984 to March 1988. Frank then worked as an Avionics Technician at Pan American World Airways from October 1988 to August 1991. In 1992, they joined American Airlines as a Maintenance & Avionics Technician until March 1994. Frank then moved on to EL AL, where they served as the Deputy Manager of Aircraft Maintenance JFK from January 1992 to September 1999. Following that, they worked at JetBlue Airways as the Director of System Operations from September 1999 to April 2014, and as the Director of Aircraft Maintenance from November 2004 to June 2011. Frank later joined JetSuite as the VP of Technical and System Operations from April 2014 to July 2015. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President of Technical Asset Management at Air Lease Corporation since July 2015.

Frank Buratti has a education history that includes two notable periods of study. From 1988 to 1990, they attended the College of Aeronautics and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Aviation Maintenance Technology. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Aviation Management from Dowling College, which they completed between 2002 and 2004.
