Pinella Shapiro

Pinella Shapiro has over 25 years of work experience in various IT roles. Pinella began their career as a Technical Consultant at Oracle in 1993, where they worked until 1999. Pinella then joined eToys/ToyTime as Director of IT, holding the position from 1999 to 2001. From 2001 to 2014, Pinella worked at ILFC, where they served as Director/AVP of Information Technology. During their time at ILFC, they implemented and managed several large systems and enhanced the functionality of the JDE ERP system. From 2014 to 2016, they worked as AVP of Information Technology at AerCap, leading key merger IT systems initiatives. Most recently, Pinella has been employed at Air Lease Corporation since 2017, where they have held the roles of Senior IT Consultant - Enterprise Applications and currently serves as Assistant Vice President of Business Systems. In their current role, they are responsible for project management, vendor management, business analysis, and overall IT support within various systems, including NetSuite, iManage, LeasePoint, SharePoint Online, Office 365, HotDocs, Power BI, Nintex workflows, SQL database, and Web Services.

Pinella Shapiro has a strong education history in the field of computer science and IT management. Pinella obtained their Information Technology Management Certification from UCLA Extension in 2017, where they studied various subjects including IT management, project management, IT finance, IT leadership, and IT security. Prior to that, Pinella earned a Masters in Computer Science from California State University Fullerton between 1991 and 1993. Pinella completed their undergraduate studies at Moldova State University from 1986 to 1991, where they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Pinella also completed their high school education at School #55 in Kishinev, Moldova, from 1976 to 1986. The field of study during their high school education is not specified.
