Principal Engineer - Refractory Specialist at Air Liquide

Alecir Saraiva has extensive work experience in the field of refractories and maintenance engineering. Alecir started their career as a Trainee Refractory Maintenance Engineer at Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional in October 2006. After working as a Refractory Maintenance Engineer for a year, they were promoted to the role of Senior Refractory Maintenance Engineer in April 2009. In this role, they managed refractory maintenance activities and development processes for Blast Stoves and Casthouse equipment, conducted root cause analysis for equipment failures, and collaborated with OEM for cost reduction and process improvement.

In 2016, Alecir joined Emirates Global Aluminium (EGA) as a Reliability Engineer and Refractory Specialist. Alecir Saraiva completed a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Business Management from FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas from 2009 to 2012.
