Erwin Penfornis

Erwin Penfornis is a seasoned leader in the hydrogen energy sector, currently serving as the Group VP of the Hydrogen Energy World Business Line at Air Liquide since December 2015, where responsibilities include overseeing the company's global hydrogen energy activities and co-secretary of the Hydrogen Council. Previously, Erwin held multiple roles within Air Liquide, such as VP of H2 Energy Asia-Pacific, COO of the Hydrogen Energy World Business Unit, and VP of Hydrogen Energy Market, focusing on business strategy and technology development for hydrogen mobility. With extensive experience in business development and project management across various regions, including North-East Asia and the Middle-East, Erwin began with Air Liquide R&D and holds an Engineering Master's degree with a focus on Energy-Environment from Ecole Centrale.
