Louis Laffont has extensive work experience in various companies. Louis started their career as a Financial Controller at Schneider Electric, Indonesia from May 1998 to September 1999. Louis then joined Oliver Wyman in 2000 and worked as a Senior Associate in strategy consulting for 7 years, primarily focusing on business and sales development, organization and post-merger integration, and private equity acquisitions. Some of their notable clients during this period included Air Liquide, ArcelorMittal, and Schneider Electric. From October 2007 to June 2011, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Air Liquide, where they later became the Product Director from July 2011 to September 2014. In these roles, they contributed to increasing product sales by defining business models and corporate reference guides and collaborating with country subsidiaries. Louis then transitioned to Investor Relations at Air Liquide from October 2014 to May 2019, where they managed financial communications with institutional investors and specific coverage of sustainable development and governance/stewardship. More recently, they served as the Head of Marketing & Business Development in the Shareholder Services Department at Air Liquide from May 2019 onwards. In this role, they developed and implemented a new marketing strategy, including a recruiting campaign on social networks and the establishment of a dedicated recruiting site.

Louis Laffont obtained an Undergraduate degree from ESSEC Business School in France from 1994 to 1997. Louis also completed an MBA at INSEAD, Singapore in the year 2004.
