Salauddin Shaikh

Salauddin Shaikh has worked as a data analyst at Air Liquide since 2021, where they are responsible for driving data and digital transformation for the largest oxygen production facility in the world. Their role involves creating models, visualization screens, and dashboards related to plant stability and efficiency. Salauddin also develops process safety visualization screens for production units and conducts process modeling for real-time monitoring and optimization. In addition, Salauddin analyzes and reports on energy efficiency to operations and management teams.

Prior to their current role, Salauddin worked as a process engineer at Sasol from 2016 to 2021. Salauddin started as a Process Engineer in Training from 2016 to 2018 and then transitioned to the role of Process Engineer from 2018 to 2021. Before joining Sasol, Salauddin worked as a Vacation Work Student at Sasol in 2014.

Salauddin Shaikh completed their Bachelor of Science in Engineering in Chemical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand between the years 2012 and 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their National Senior Certificate (Matric) from Azaadville Muslim School, which they attended from 1999 to 2011.
