Daniel Wright

Daniel Wright is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in mobile app development and project leadership. Currently serving as a Principal Engineer at Air New Zealand since July 2017, Daniel has played a pivotal role in the FACE project and the deployment of new In-Flight Entertainment and WiFi systems. Prior experience includes technical leadership at Vodafone New Zealand, where responsibility encompassed architecting mobile applications and mentoring developers. A background in project management and software development dates back to positions at QBE Insurance New Zealand and prior roles at Auckland University of Technology, PwC, and Acid Software, showcasing a diverse skill set in both technical and team management aspects. Daniel holds a Diploma in Computing and a Bachelor of Business from Auckland University of Technology.
