As a co-owner of NZ Submission Sisters, Melodie focuses on building a supportive community for women in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Previous roles include Service Delivery Manager for NZ Telehealth Services during the COVID-19 response and Project Lead at Dingwall Trust, where Melodie developed key operational resources. Melodie's background also includes significant contributions to youth development and mental health services through various positions with Youthline and the Social Work sector. Melodie holds a Diploma in Violence and Trauma Studies from Auckland University of Technology and a Certificate in Community Work from the Auckland Institute of Technology.
