Shaun Johnson Mnzm

Shaun Johnson MNZM, FRAeS has extensive experience in the aviation sector, currently serving as GM Aircraft Delivery at Air New Zealand since January 2024. From January 2021 to January 2024, Shaun held the position of CEO at Merlin Labs NZ Limited, and served on the Board of Directors for Merlin Labs NZ from January 2024 to January 2025. Additionally, Shaun was the Chief Executive Officer at Apollo Flight Research NZ, contributing to the advancement of autonomy in general aviation. Previous roles include various managerial positions at the Civil Aviation Authority of New Zealand, where responsibilities encompassed certification and air transport oversight, as well as an Air Advisor role with the NZ High Commission in Canberra and significant engineering leadership positions within the Royal New Zealand Air Force.
