Yohei Mikawa

Yohei Mikawa, CFA, is currently the Manager of Corporate Finance at Air New Zealand since July 2024. Prior to this role, Yohei served as an Investment Banking Associate at Jarden from October 2021 to July 2024, focusing on Energy & Infrastructure M&A and Equity Capital Markets. Yohei also held the position of Investment Banking Associate at Northington Partners, where expertise included equity raising, M&A, debt advisory, IPOs, capital structure analysis, company valuations, and financial modeling. Earlier experience includes Associate - Corporate Advisory at Westpac Institutional Bank, Product Manager for Home Ownership at Westpac New Zealand Limited, and various roles within the New Zealand Defence Force. Yohei holds a CFA Charterholder designation and advanced degrees in Applied Finance and Economics, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a Diploma in Japanese Language from the University of Canterbury.
