Sean Kinmonth

Sean Kinmonth serves as President and CEO of Chieftain Energy LP and has held roles including Chief Operating Officer and Associate in Finance & Risk since August 2015. Additionally, Sean is the Director of Fuel Operations at Air North, Yukon's Airline, since May 2018. Previously, Sean worked as a Field Service & Repair Engineer at Westpower, where responsibilities included managing field crews, project management for major infrastructure projects, and troubleshooting mechanical equipment. Experience also includes roles as a Pump Applications Engineer and Mobile Maintenance Reliability Co-op at Teck Resources Limited, where Sean focused on enhancing equipment reliability and optimizing maintenance processes. Sean holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from The University of British Columbia and a 4th Class Certificate of Competency in Power Engineering from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
