Michael Pires has extensive experience in commercial enablement, management, and strategy within the industrial gas and manufacturing sectors. Currently serving as the Vice President of North & Central Commercial Enablement at Air Products since February 2013, Michael has held various leadership roles including Vice President and General Manager for the North Region and Director of Americas Strategy, Marketing, and Technology. In addition to responsibilities at Air Products, Michael also contributes as a Member of the Board of Directors for Wildlands Conservancy PA. Previous positions include Global Industrial Gas Manager and Energy Manager at Gerdau, where Michael worked from March 2011 to February 2013, as well as roles at ABCO Welding & Industrial Supplies, Inc. and BOC Gases. Michael earned an MBA in Management from Lehigh University and a Bachelor's degree in Business Management and Administration from Muhlenberg College.
