Roland Clarke has extensive experience in the gases industry, currently serving as the Director of Production and Engineering for Southern Europe at Air Products since September 1991. Responsibilities include overseeing production plant operations, executing projects for new plants and improvements, and maintaining logistical and technical support for customer engineering. Previously held roles at Air Products include Technical Manager and Production Manager for Packaged Gases, where leadership extended to managing over 250 employees across 14 cylinder filling plants. Prior experience includes positions as Production Manager at Carburos Metálicos and as a Process Engineer at ICI Paints, with initial professional training in the Oilworks area during a student assignment. Roland Clarke holds a BEng in Chemical Engineering from The University of Salford and an MBA in Business Administration from The Open University.
