Mike Betson has an extensive work history in the aviation industry. Mike currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer at Air Transport International, Inc., a position they have held since February 2021. Prior to this, Mike was with UPS Airlines for a significant portion of their career. At UPS Airlines, they held various roles and achieved promotions, ultimately becoming the Vice President of Industrial Engineering. In this role, they acted as a Trusted Advisor and Chief of Staff to the President of the Airline, overseeing engineering solutions and managing a large team. Before becoming Vice President, Mike held the positions of Director of Crew Resources & Industrial Engineering and Director of Industrial Engineering Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering. In these roles, they were responsible for improving employee relations, implementing operational excellence reporting structures, and managing budgets. Prior to their time at UPS Airlines, Mike had multiple roles and promotions at UPS starting from 1986.
