Ghalib Shah

Ghalib Shah currently serves as the Chair of the Department of Cyber Security and a Professor at Air University since January 2023. Ghalib is also the Founder of Thingz Eye, a startup focused on developing security solutions for IoT applications, and founded Things Access, which creates IoT-based products, particularly in smart home automation. Previously, Ghalib held the position of Sultan Qaboos IT Co-Chair and Director of the Internet of Things and Cyber Security Lab at the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, overseeing a team of PhD consultants and engineers. Earlier experience includes roles as a Research Associate at Koc University, Member of Technical Staff at CARE Pvt Ltd, Assistant Professor at the National University of Sciences and Technology, and various engineering positions at Tetra Bilgisayar and Elixir Technologies. Ghalib holds a PhD in Wireless Sensor Networks from Middle East Technical University and an MSc in Computer Science from Bahauddin Zakariya University.
