Nishit Kumar is an experienced aviation professional with a robust background in aircraft maintenance and engineering. Currently serving as the Assistant Engineering Manager - Line Maintenance at Air Works Group since June 2019, Nishit independently manages engineering operations, focusing on troubleshooting, cost analysis, resource optimization, and maintenance planning. Prior to this role, Nishit was a Senior Lead Engineer at the same organization, where leadership of engineering projects and teams significantly enhanced operational efficiency and compliance. Nishit began a career as the Lead Aircraft Engineer at Jet Airways from March 1997 to June 2019, overseeing aircraft maintenance to ensure fleet airworthiness while optimizing maintenance operations. Nishit holds a license in B737 and A330 Airframe Mechanics and Aircraft Maintenance Technology obtained from the Institute of Aviation and Technology in Bhubaneswar, Orissa.
