Thomas Diamond has a diverse work experience in the field of User Experience (UX) and Design. Thomas started their career as a Freelance Designer at Davis Ad Agency in 2004 and later worked as a Creative Services Manager at Veritas Medicine in 2008. Thomas then served as a Designer at New Balance in 2011 before joining Vistaprint as a Freelance Designer from 2011 to 2013.
In 2012, Thomas worked as a Freelance Information Architect at Allen & Gerritsen and as a User Experience Designer Freelance at Digital Influence Group. Thomas also had a short stint as a Freelance Senior User Experience Designer at Racepoint Global in 2014.
Thomas joined Staples in 2013 as a Senior User Experience Designer, where they led UX initiatives for multiple re-platform projects. In 2016, they became a part of the User Experience team at Verisk - extreme event solutions, initially as a Senior UX Designer and later promoted to Principal User Experience Designer.
Throughout their career, Thomas has showcased their expertise in solving unique user tasks and workflow challenges and collaborating with project teams to deliver impactful results.
Thomas Diamond completed their education from 1987 to 1991 at Massachusetts College of Art and Design, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Illustration, Design, and Art History. Additionally, they obtained various certifications from LinkedIn, including "Real-World GIS" in January 2023, "Writing in Plain Language" in November 2022, "Business Analysis Foundations" in July 2020, "UX Design: 3 Creating Personas" in July 2020, and "UX Foundations: Usability Testing" in July 2020.
